As Michigan moves forward in the process of legalizing adult use marijuana, committees are being formed to evaluate and give feedback on Michigan's voter-approved adult use marijuana law to ensure a smooth operation. As adult use licenses are granted, it is important to note that growers with medical licenses will be given preference to receive adult use licenses for the first year or two. The Marijuana Regulatory Agency is even planning on holding educational seminars throughout the state in September to clarify the licensing process for applicants.
It hasn't been the quickest or simplest process, but Michigan continues to move forward on the legalization of adult use and recreational marijuana licenses, which includes enforcement and regulation of the industry. It's only a matter of time before it is cleared for retail sales, spawning a booming industry.
