WHAT WE OFFER

Medical Benefits

UHY offers a choice of 2 health plans with 4 levels of coverage administered by United Healthcare. 

Both our plans are open access; this means you do not need a referral from your Primary Care Physician in order to see a specialist.  Additionally, our plans offer the same robust network. 

No matter which plan you choose, we encourage you and your covered dependents to have annual wellness exams.  All of our plans cover preventative and wellness visits 100% with no copays if you see an in-network provider. 

Flexible Spending Account

A flexible spending account (FSA) allows you to use pre-tax money for eligible medical or dependent care expenses.  By contributing via pre-tax payroll deductions, you save money!  You can use those funds by using the FSA debit card that will be mailed to you or submitting a receipt via myuhc.com.

 

Health Care FSA

By contributing each payroll to a health care FSA, the total annual contribution amount is available for you to use for qualified medical, dental, or vision expenses.  The FSA covers qualified expenses incurred by your dependents as well, regardless of whether they are covered by the plan.

 

Dental Benefits

Our dental plan is provided by UnitedHealthcare.  While it provides both network and non-network coverage, keep in mind that network providers have agreed to charge negotiated fees.  If a non-network provider charges a fee for service that is above UHC’s usual and customary fees, you may be billed for the balance.

Vision Benefits

Our vision benefits are provided by United Healthcare. There are copays for in-network benefits including exams, eye glasses with standard single vision, lined bifocal, or lines trifocal lenses, standard scratch resistant coating, and frames or contact lenses in lieu of eye glasses. 

401(k) Savings Plan

On the first of the month after 30 days of service, you’re eligible to participate in our 401(k) savings plan.  We currently offer 3 savings plan options:

 

  • A traditional pre-tax 401(k)
  • A Roth (after-tax) 401(k)
  • An after tax 401(k)

 

The last after-tax option is not eligible for our match; the other two options are.  UHY offers a discretionary match of their 401(k) contributions to employees who have put in one year of service.  As a discretionary match, it can vary from year to year.
