Maryland Pass-Through Entity Tax Update

The Maryland Comptroller previously extended the tax deadline for 2020 tax returns, including Pass Through Entity’s (PTE’s), to July 15, 2021. One of the reasons for this extension was due to legislative changes that required revised tax forms.

Last week, the Comptroller announced the revised forms for individuals were ready to use. However, the revised PTE forms for the 2020 tax year are still not available due to certain legislative actions. The Comptroller’s office expects the revised forms to be available in the next few weeks.
