Small businesses impacted by recent COVID-19 emergency orders can begin applying for $55 million in Michigan Small Business Survival grants through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation tomorrow, January 19 at 9:00am EST. An electronic queue system will once again be used, with businesses entering the queue prior to entry into the application. Businesses will be able to sign up to receive a notification upon reaching the front of the queue, with 15 minutes to start the application after being notified. Small Business Survival Grants will be administered by 15 Economic Development Organizations covering all 83 counties - $55 million in funding.
Michigan Stages Survival Grant program also approved to offer relief to live music and event venues statewide - $3.5 million in funding.
