(“UHY Advisors”), one of the nation’s leading professional services firms, announced the appointment of ten new managing directors from four regions: Patrick Farrelly, Don Felmlee, Eric Hennessey, Nancy Johnson, Daniel Jones, Jody Lurk, Denise Pisciotta, Eric Ribachonek, Stephanie Rosenbaum and Kate Vasiliev.

Patrick Farrelly is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Northeast. He provides a wide range of audit and assurance services including financial audit, forensic audit, compliance audit, reviews, compilations, internal control assessments and other accounting advisory services. Farrelly served in leadership engagement roles for financial institutions with $1.5 to $5 billion in assets, multi-national mass media entities, private equity and public Securities and Exchange Commission registrants. In international roles, he has advised on IFRS and assisted and collaborated on audit and assurance services in the UK and European continent. Farrelly received his B.S. in Accounting and Business Management from Manhattan College and is a licensed CPA in the state of New York.
Don Felmlee is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Great Lakes. Felmlee specializes in assisting companies in developing and implementing strategic plans to improve operations, protect assets and maximize profitability. He has built his practice across a broad spectrum of industries, but has extensive subject matter knowledge in the manufacturing and distribution, and petroleum spaces. He is a leading member of the national petroleum practice and is called upon to speak at seminars and other thought leadership events. Felmlee received his B.A. in Accounting from Northwood University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Michigan.
Eric Hennessey is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Northeast. He has more than 20 years of experience managing audit engagements for a variety of clients, with a “hands-on” approach to controlling and coordinating engagement details. Hennessey has significant experience in the areas of complex financial reporting and accounting issues. He advises business leaders on a range of issues including business combinations, revenue recognition, inventory, intangibles/goodwill, contracts, and equity and income. Hennessey received his B.B.A. from Siena College and an M.B.A. in Professional Accountancy from Siena College and is a licensed CPA in the state of New York.
Nancy Johnson is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Mid-Atlantic. She is a leading member of the audit and assurance practice with 30 years of experience. Johnson specializes in working with nonprofits which include public charities, member associations, educational institutions, and religious organizations. She also has extensive experience with Single Audits under the Uniform Guidance. She received her B.S. in Business Administration in Accountancy from Auburn University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Maryland and in Washington D.C.
Daniel Jones is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Northeast. He is a leader of the audit and assurance group and has extensive knowledge of SEC reporting requirements for companies ranging in size from small to large accelerated filers. He frequently serves as a subject matter expert on complex transactions and works within the private equity space. Recently named an “Emerging Leader” by The M&A Advisor, he also advises private equity firms undergoing transactions by providing financial due diligence, quality of earnings analysis and operational improvement insights before investments are made. He received his B.S. from Monmouth University and is a licensed CPA in the state of New York.
Jody Lurk is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Midwest. She has nearly 20 years of experience providing attest and consulting services to companies in the nonprofit, financial, manufacturing and distribution and construction sectors. In addition to serving clients, Lurk serves as a co-chair of the GROW (Growth and Retention of Women) committee of UHY WISE, a women’s leadership program. She also serves as a leading member of the not-for-profit, financial institution, manufacturing, and employee benefit plan teams. Lurk received her B.S. in Accountancy from Southwest Missouri State University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Missouri.
Denise Pisciotta is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Midwest. Pisciotta has extensive experience with a broad spectrum of clients, including health care, nonprofit, manufacturing, retail, and service organizations., She provides tax strategy, employee benefits consulting, advisory, and compliance for closely held S corporations, LLCs, partnerships, corporate consolidated groups with foreign entities, multi-state, and individuals, and she reviews both separate and unitary state filings, including state apportionment. Pisciotta received her B.S. in Accounting from Illinois State University and is a licensed CPA in the states of Missouri and Indiana.
Eric Ribachonek is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Northeast. He has been an employee of the firm for over a decade and is responsible for servicing a range of clients from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 companies across the globe. A recent winner of The M&A Advisor’s “Emerging Leaders” award, Ribachonek performs due diligence and other acquisition-related services and has significant experience with consulting matters on spin-offs and carve-outs of public and private entities. He received his M.B.A. from Clarkson University and is a licensed CPA in the state of New York.
Stephanie Rosenbaum is a managing director of UHY Consulting and is a leader of the Resource Solutions Group in the Great Lakes. Rosenbaum specializes in both providing upper-level and executive accounting and finance support to companies with interim and permanent placement needs, as well as generating new assurance, tax, and consulting clients within the region. She has more than 15 years of development and recruiting experience in the finance and accounting industry. Rosenbaum received her B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Kate Vasiliev is a managing director of UHY Advisors in the Mid-Atlantic. She is a leader in both, the attestation and tax practice, with significant experience in audits and multi-state tax preparation. Vasiliev’s industry expertise includes manufacturing and distribution, real estate and nonprofits. She is a regular contributor to national industry newsletters and a frequent speaker on nonprofit topics. She received her B.S. and her M.S. in Business Economics and Management, from BIP Institute of Law, and is a licensed CPA in the state of Maryland.
