UHY is proud to continue our monthly Executive Briefings via webinar, bringing you current trends and valuable content to help in growing your business.

This month's topic is: ESOP: A Powerful Exit Strategy

An ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) is an often overlooked, yet powerful way to sell a business.  Tax advantages of an ESOP include the ability to operate as a non-taxable entity post-closing as well as sell tax-deferred and, ultimately, tax-free.  Join UHY as we discuss when ESOPs can result in the best sale outcome for your business.

During this session, you will:

  • Obtain a high-level overview of how ESOPs work as a tool to sell a business
  • Explore situations where an ESOP might be more desirable than a traditional M&A process
  • Hear case studies of businesses that have structured ESOPs and what lessons they learned
