Corey Massella Awarded 2023 Thomas Farrell Memorial Award by M&A Advisor Magazine

The M&A Advisor recognized Corey Massella, Partner, as the recipient of the 2023 Thomas Farrell Memorial Award. Massella was honored for his significant contribution to the M&A industry at the 22nd Annual M&A Advisor Awards Gala.

In 2017, The M&A Advisor established the Thomas Farrell Memorial Award to honor the memory of Thomas “Tom” Farrell, former Executive Vice President of investment banking firm, Generational Equity, and to celebrate his contributions to the mergers and acquisitions industry. The Award is presented each year to the individual chosen by their peers to have made the most generous contribution to the advancement of our industry.

Corey Massella has over thirty-five years of experience as an entrepreneur, tax, and business advisor to companies in a multitude of industries, specializing in transaction services. Additionally, Massella has experience serving as a Private Equity and Technology Industry Group Practice Leader for a Top Twenty accounting firm.

Massella has successfully guided his clients through all facets of the mergers and acquisitions transaction cycle to help them make critical decisions, while ensuring transactions are strategic and seamless. He has deep experience advising private equity funds, hedge funds, banks, broker-dealers, investor relations firms, and various other financial services companies. As a business advisor, Massella has worked with CEOs and CFOs, as well as the boards of both public and private clients. He has performed due diligence and negotiations on both the buy and sell sides. Massella also has experience preparing business plans and initial public offerings (IPO), and with cash flow and productivity analysis to help scale businesses for growth, as well as extensive knowledge and experience in complex tax structuring and planning.

In addition to being recognized, Massella was inducted into The M&A Advisor’s Hall of Fame during The M&A Advisor’s Signature Awards Gala that evening, a feature of the 2023 Future of Dealmaking Summit.
