For more than thirty-nine years, Pat Rohrkaste has cultivated a reputation as a practical and flexible resource for clients and business colleagues both inside and outside the firm. He looks to provide both for-profit and not-for-profit entities with tools to tell their story, including annual reports, benchmarking comparisons, and key performance indicators.
Pat assists nonprofits in presentations of financial statements to improve and enhance efforts to secure funding, as well as cost allocations to improve costs of programming versus supporting services. He has improved financial controls to strengthen financial reporting; consulted on corporate structure and improved allocation of costs; given general presentations to board committees on governance, financial transparency, and accountability; and consulted on merger of nonprofits with analysis of transitional audit and tax reporting issues.
Pat is a frequent speaker and author of articles addressing NFP issues, including accounting, auditing, tax, finance and fundraiser/development. He is Co-Chair of UHY’s Not-For-Profit & Education Industry and is passionate and committed to sharing his expertise, time, treasure, and talents impacting not-for-profits in the St. Louis community
