Robert Kendall is a leading member of the firm’s Corporate Finance practice. He provides sell-side advisory services that include developing valuation expectations, evaluating potential transaction structures, and assisting in the execution of a robust sale process. Robert is experienced in all aspects of the sale process, such as identifying financial and strategic buyers, calculating supportable earnings adjustments, facilitating buyer due diligence, and negotiating transaction documents.
He conducts buy-side due diligence investigations focused on evaluating quality of earnings, quality of net assets, customer concentration, working capital needs, and the reasonableness of proposed adjustments to reported EBITDA. He has prepared valuations of more than fifty operating businesses and holding companies to assist in mergers and acquisitions transactions, financial reporting, estate and gift tax planning, strategic initiatives, and litigation.
Robert is a frequent panelist on mergers and acquisitions topics for the Detroit Chapter of ACG NextGen. He was recognized as an Emerging Leader by M&A Advisor Magazine in 2017, and as NextGen’s Top of the Class award winner, Turnaround Management Association in 2016, among other distinctions.
