The goals of the GROW Committee include:
The Professional Development Committee will be responsible for arranging training sessions based on topics suggested by the group. We plan to have at least two internal training sessions per year. This group will also work and coordinate with the other committees, particularly the Corporate Connections Committee, to provide relevant training to the larger group.
Corporate Connections gives both women of UHY and the friends of UHY an opportunity to build external relationships with other female executives in the marketplace. WISE hosts 2 primary events per year one in the spring and one in the fall. Our spring event provides the attendees an opportunity to gain knowledge and tools to further develop and advance their careers. WISE’s fall event is more social in nature and focus’ on developing deeper relationships with the women who attend.
The benefits of attending a WISE event includes; peer association, interaction with other female professionals and learning new tools that will elevate you to the next level, either personally or professionally.
