UHY Expands; Joined by Two Firms in Iowa and Maryland

Combinations add three offices and expand resources and expertise in Iowa and Maryland

We are expanding, joining with two accounting firms effective January 2022. The combination of firms will add three new offices to UHY’s U.S. footprint, as well expand the firm’s reach into Iowa and in Maryland.

LWBJ is a leading audit, accounting, tax, consulting, and mergers/acquisitions firm with two Iowa offices—one in Des Moines and the other in Ames. LWBJ is comprised of 65 team members, ten of whom will be joining UHY as partners. The Iowa offices join UHY’s rapidly growing Midwest Region, which is 200 professionals strong with four offices in St. Louis, Kansas City and Houston.

TGM Group LLC in Salisbury, Maryland expands UHY’s Mid-Atlantic Region based in Columbia, Maryland. TGM Group is comprised of 35 professionals, five of whom will be joining UHY as partners. With industry specialization in construction, government and not-for-profit, TGM aligns well with UHY’s Mid-Atlantic practice.

UHY is the 31st largest accounting firm in the U.S. with 25 offices and more than 1,200 team members. In November, UHY announced its expansion in Kansas City with the merger with House Park Dobratz Wiebler. Additional mergers for UHY are expected in 2022.
