We are pleased to announce that Michael Trettin, who leads UHY's Audit & Assurance Practice in the West Des Moines, Iowa office, has been accepted as a member of the Greater Des Moines Committee, a prestigious organization of regional business leaders that fosters collaboration on economic, civic, and public policy issues.
Founded in 1907 by a group of 30 Central Iowa business leaders, the Greater Des Moines Committee now consists of 120 members and serves as a forum for business leaders to exchange information on key issues impacting the community, the state of Iowa, and the nation.
The Committee's mission is to encourage, promote, develop, and protect the commercial, manufacturing, and broader business interests of Greater Des Moines and the state of Iowa. Its membership is comprised of CEOs — or senior managing partners in the case of professional firms — of Des Moines–area organizations with a strong commitment to the growth and development of the region.
We are proud of Michael's achievement and look forward to the leadership and insights he will bring to the Greater Des Moines Committee and to the broader community.
