UHY Expands Towson Office with New Partner and Team from MMK CPA, LLC

UHY is pleased to announce the expansion of its Towson office with the addition of a new partner and team members from MMK CPA, LLC. As part of this transition, Shelley Keirn has joined as a Managing Director, Debbie Donovan as a Manager, and Thomas Keirn as a Staff Accountant in UHY’s Towson Tax Department.

This growth strengthens UHY’s presence in Maryland and reinforces its commitment to providing high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to businesses and individuals across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Shelley was a shareholder with Stoy, Malone & Company, P.C. before establishing MMK CPA, LLC. She joined UHY through the combination with MMK CPA, LLC, and brings extensive experience in tax planning and business advisory services, particularly for small and mid-sized businesses.  Additionally, Shelley has significant expertise in managing estates and trusts, as well as working with professional services and non-profit organizations.

A licensed CPA in Maryland, she holds a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Baltimore.

UHY continues to expand its presence in Maryland, following previous firm combinations such as Stoy, Malone & Company in 2022. This latest integration further strengthens the firm’s ability to provide expert financial guidance to businesses in Towson, Baltimore, and beyond.
