Background
Tom Callan is the is the Regional Managing Partner of the Great Lakes Region and a former member of the Board of Directors. He is the former leader of the firm’s National Construction Practice, where he played a key role in developing practices and procedures to improve the delivery of professional services to construction and real estate companies.
Tom provides guidance on tax compliance issues, state and local tax planning, consulting services, business forecasts and projections, business valuations, estate and succession planning.
Tom is the former host and chairperson of UHY LLP Annual Construction Outlook. He has participated in numerous seminars, including “The Role of a Corporate Advisory Board” (Private Director's Association Seminar), “Valuations of Construction Companies” (MICPA Construction Industry Conference), and “Current Developments in the Construction Industry” (Michigan Minority Business Development Council Construction Industry Group). He also served a featured panelist for “Homebuilder’s Tax and Accounting Issues” for the AICPA National Construction Industry Conference.
