F. MICHAEL ZOVISTOSKI

F. Michael Zovistoski is an active member of the firm’s National Manufacturing / Distribution Group and Marketing Group and the New York Executive Committee. He has more than thirty years of comprehensive auditing experience in a variety of industries, and more than twenty years as a financial service professional.

Mike’s diverse experience, insight, and commitment allow him to focus on the unique needs of early-stage and middle-market businesses, as well as tax-exempt/not-for-profit organizations. The cost-efficient delivery of accurate and timely accounting and consulting services and innovative tax, business and wealth advisory strategies are his principal focus. He is responsible for the delivery of accounting and consulting services that optimize growth, profitability, and wealth management for clients.

Mike oversees large, multi-faceted audit and consulting engagements, some of which have multiple global offices. He is co-founder of UHY Advisors’ Wealth Management Practice, which provides holistic wealth management, including planned giving and estate planning and in conjunction with effective tax planning strategies.

In May 2017, Mike was instrumental in organizing the NYSSCPA’s first lobby day and presented Bill Number 7895-A to members of the New York State Assembly and Senate, which was subsequently passed by both houses and signed into law on October 23rd, 2017. Again, in May 2018, Mike took a change in New York State Education Law to the Assembly and Senate, which received unanimous support in both houses and was signed into law on December 21, 2018.
