Dennis LaPorte is a leader of the Tax Department and of the firm’s National Personal, Estate and Fiduciary Planning Group, and National Private Client Services Group.
Dennis joined the firm in 1980, and has more than thirty-five years of experience providing a wide range of tax and business consulting services to privately held and middle-market clients. As the firm’s leading estate and gift taxation advisor, he assists business owners with their succession and estate plans, and specializes in corporate growth, providing buy-side and sell-side transaction assistance, and developing multi-site business growth initiatives. He also identifies opportunities to maximize profits, minimize taxes, and protect assets.
Dennis is a regular speaker on relevant business topics such as buy/sell agreements, estate planning and taxation, business valuation, and succession planning.
