RENEE THEUNICK

Renee Theunick has over 25 years of experience providing sophisticated tax planning and advisory services to closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and multigenerational families. She specializes in federal tax planning, private client services, and gift, estate, and trust strategies, with a strong focus on succession and transfer planning that helps business owners preserve and transition wealth efficiently.

Prior to joining UHY, Renee held roles with multiple top firms, including one Big Four firm. During that time, she served as Tax Director in Private Wealth Services, where she advised owners and their families on minimizing income and transfer taxes. She has experience in compliance and consulting engagements for middle-market companies and advised on multistate, international, and complex reporting matters, including FAS 109 and FIN 48.

Renee also brings deep experience in IRS and state audit representation, tax due diligence, and keeping clients informed of evolving tax law changes. Known for her practical, forward-looking approach, she delivers tailored strategies that align tax planning with long-term personal and business objectives.
