Background
Scott Miller joined the firm in 1987. He is a leader in the Audit and Assurance Department and leader of the National Energy Practice.
Scott has experience with various SEC filings. He provides both private and public companies with a wide range of financial, tax, accounting, transaction, and consulting services. He’s consulted on numerous business transactions and delivers buy-side and sell-side advisory, due diligence, financial analysis, tax strategies, negotiations, allocations, financing, and purchase price adjustments. Additionally, he develops and implements strategies to improve operating efficiencies and identify growth opportunities.
Scott has served as Host and Chairperson of UHY LLP Annual Accounting and Business Conference and UHY LLP Petroleum Briefing Webinar Series. He’s a frequent speaker and author on relevant business and tax planning issues and serves as editor and contributor of the UHY LLP Petroleum Insider quarterly newsletter.
