Background
Stephanie Refo has over 15 years of experience providing auditing and tax services to Common Interest Realty Associations (CIRAs) and real estate. She performs financial audits under generally accepted auditing standards for condominiums, homeowner’s associations, and housing cooperatives. She has also advised on specific accounting treatments and disclosure requirements for clients filing Chapter 11.
Stephanie consults with clients on new accounting treatments and different tax treatments available for CIRAs. She also has experience assessing internal controls of associations and management companies.
In 2024, Stephanie took over the lead of our Consulting Accounting Advisory Services. Her team assists various clients in different industries with bookkeeping, technology implementation, and policy improvements.
