Ty Coffee a Principal with UHY Consulting, providing solutions that strengthen organizations. He brings over 19 years of experience managing, performing, and delivering information technology security solutions. This experience includes technology risk management, IT audition, IT security assessments, internal auditing, attack‐and‐penetration testing services, and security analysis in domestic and global entities.

He has expertise in IT compliance and attestation including Service Organization Controls (SSAE 16, SOC 2, SOC 3), HIPAA, and PCI‐DSS, which he leverages to develop control structures and helps clients prepare for compliance assessments. In addition, Ty assists in implementing internal control frameworks and risk assessment methodologies and is skilled in designing, assessing, and testing against multiple security standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001/27002, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), COBIT, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He possesses considerable experience within the information security and auditing/assessment niche with knowledge and background in client/server environments, mainframes, and databases as well as application and hardware experience.

Ty is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and an Associate Qualified Security Assessor (AQSA).
