Matthew VanDerbeck has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and auditing, with extensive experience in the non-profit, governmental and privately held for-profit industries. Within his prior experience, Matt developed his experience working on larger non-profit entities (including colleges and universities, private schools, unions, governmental entities and other non-profits), non-public and public for-profit entities.
Matt is one of the leading partners for UHY’s cannabis practice in New York, with extensive experience advising businesses on achieving and maintaining their accounting and tax compliance with state and federal regulations. Matt has been a speaker on issues relating to the cannabis industry, including banking regulations. Matt is also a member of the New York State Society of CPAs’ banking and cannabis committees.
