Michael specializes in providing expertise and advice to growing companies and organizations to help navigate complex financial reporting and accounting issues. He has extensive experience serving commercial entities, including privately held and public companies.
Michael is focused on emerging technology and software companies. He assists in mergers and acquisitions; public and private financing; debt/equity offerings; SEC regulatory issues/PCAOB standards audits; and domestic and multi-national entities. His commercial expertise includes revenue recognition and comprising multiple-element arrangements. His contract accounting business combines intangibles/goodwill cost accounting and inventories consolidations, variable interest entities, foreign currency translations, public and private debt, and equity financing.
Michael also has extensive experience serving not-for-profit entities, with a specialty in institutions of higher education and related entities.
