Scott Earls has thirty-two years of experience providing tax planning and strategic business consulting services to a wide range of both public and privately held companies. He specializes in tax-planning strategies and business consulting services. Scott is a leader of the Tax Department and a member of the firm’s National Tax Accounting Methods and Periods Committee. He is co-chairperson of UHY Advisors Annual Tax Forum.
Scott has extensive experience in the identification and documentation of R&D tax credits. He is knowledge able in various tax issues, including LIFO and the taxation of inventories, tax accounting methods issues, state and local tax issues and planning to minimize taxes for entrepreneurial businesses and its stakeholders. Before joining the firm, Scott was with Ernst & Young for twenty years.
