Background
Melanie Chen leads the Asia Business Group at UHY Advisors and directs a variety of services, including but not limited to U.S. GAAP financial reporting, preparation of financial statements, S-1/F-1, quarterly 10-Q, and annual 10-K forms. She guides Asian companies in acquisitions and investments in the U.S., such as financial and tax due diligence, designing tax-efficient investment structures, and identifying investment opportunities. Additionally, she advises US-based multinational companies on complex tax, financial, and operational issues related to doing business in Asia, and U.S. companies on identifying suppliers, manufacturers, licensees, and investors in Asia.
Melanie is a member of the Management Committee of UHY Advisors Northeast, and a former member of the Board of Directors of UHY International, the global organization of UHY member firms.
