Crystal Li has almost 15 years of accounting and business consulting experience, specializing in serving international companies operating in China and the U.S. Her experience includes heading the Greater China practice in Beijing for an international CPA firm, and serving as the director of finance in charge of Mergers & Acquisition and SEC reporting for a publicly-traded company.
Crystal has an in-depth understanding of the differences in business operations between China and the U.S. and a strong ability to resolve complex technical accounting issues with a practical approach that balances business operations and compliance requirements. She specializes in audits of publicly and privately-owned companies and representing the buyers in financial due diligence. She has managed companies from start-up to $300 million in revenue. Crystal does not have an industry of focus, having completed work for a wide range of industries including technology, media, healthcare, manufacturing, fintech, agriculture, energy and real estate. She also has extensive experience in business combination, share-based compensation, convertible instruments and revenue recognition.
Additionally, she advises public companies on remediation of material weakness, enhancement internal controls, risk management and documentation in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Other services include build-up financial modeling, the evaluation of financials impacts in deal negotiations, post-transaction book keeping, carve-outs, re-organizations, budgeting and forecasting.
