Jack Reagan is the head of UHY’s Audit & Assurance Department in the Mid-Atlantic region and is a member of UHY LLP’s Management Committee. Jack has over 30 years of experience serving state and local governments, local school districts, federal government entities, and not-for-profit organizations as both an auditor and consultant. He has served many of the largest state and local government entities throughout the country including New York City, Boston, San Jose, Nashville, and Washington, D.C., as well as the states of New York, Texas, New Jersey, Delaware, and California, and Fairfax County, Va., Loudoun County, Va., and Montgomery County, Md. Jack currently leads many ARPA consulting engagements for cities and counties across the nation. He also serves as an ARPA subject matter expert for the City of Detroit, Mich. Jack also served as a quality control review partner for close-out audits of FEMA grant funds awarded to localities by the Texas Department of Emergency Management.
Jack has successfully assisted numerous localities in obtaining and maintaining their GFOA and ASB Certificates of Excellence in Financial Reporting. He is a widely sought-after speaker on emerging issues facing these entities, from technical accounting matters to grants management to other financial management issues. Jack was the first recipient of the University of Richmond Accounting Department Alumni of the Year for his contributions to students at his alma mater.
