Venus Wu specializes in attestation, consulting, and tax services for various domestic and international entities. Prior to UHY, she worked for three Big Four firms, providing professional services to publicly traded companies.

Venus leads various attestation services, including audits, reviews, and other special services. She provides technical training courses on various accounting topics, including revenue recognition, lease, and fraud prevention and detection. She brings significant experience and expertise in the areas of complex financial reporting and accounting issues including: business combinations; consolidations and variable interest entities; revenue recognition; lease; inventory; intangibles/goodwill and impairment; stock-based compensation; complex financial instruments (equity vs debt); and income tax.

Venus advises various clients in a number of areas, including: US multi-national company issues such as complex tax, financial and business issues related to doing business in the U.S. and Greater China Region; internal control issues relating to operation efficiency and effectiveness; internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) and SOX compliance; financial due diligence engagements; and fraud investigations.
