George Crane has over 25 years of financial consulting experience and an unparalleled track record of providing clients with solutions to their various complex valuation challenges and needs. He has experience leading valuations of closely-held securities for buyouts, recapitalizations, and federal estate and gift tax purposes. His valuation expertise extends to valuations for financing, bankruptcy, and of portfolio companies for private equity investors and for use in disputes and for litigation support purposes.
George performs M&A-related appraisals of business enterprises and their underlying intangible assets (e.g., patents, trademarks, software, customer lists, goodwill, etc.) for income tax, GAAP, and IFRS compliance purposes.
George is a Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers (“ASA”) designated in Business Valuation. He is also an accredited (“IA”) Intangible Asset Valuation Specialist. Nationally, there are less than 65 individuals who have successfully met the experience, testing, and peer review requirements established by the ASA to achieve this Credential.
