Background
Kathy Crockett has over 20 years of experience in private and public accounting, with an emphasis on privately held companies. She is a leader of the Tax Practice, providing comprehensive tax and business consulting services to middle-market companies in various industries. She builds strong relationships with private owners and finance and tax professionals.
Kathy has extensive knowledge of tax compliance issues, federal tax planning, state and local taxation, business forecasts and projections, and business plan preparation for startup and distressed companies. She serves as a direct owner/controller contact for a wide range of local and national client engagements. In this role, she provides strategic planning, consultation, and transactional tax analysis for mergers and acquisitions and identifies opportunities to maximize profits, minimize taxes, and protect assets.
Kathy also leads the GROW committee for UHY’s Women Invested in Success & Excellence (“WISE”) Michigan chapter.
