MARK WELSH

Background

Mark Welsh has over 27 years of audit experience working with financial institutions and banks, including five SEC registrants. He is a member of the Auditing and Assurance Department and the firm’s Financial Services Group. Mark performs audit, accounting, and tax services for clients and is primarily responsible for supervising fieldwork, management consulting, and preparation of financial statements and management reports.

Mark works with closely held businesses in a variety of industries, including construction, HVAC, mortgage brokers, broker/dealers, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, medical, and real estate. His work also includes governments, 401(k) plan audits and HOAs, health and human services and healthcare related nonprofit organizations. He has also handled SEC filings and public company matters and provided expert witness testimony on a case that went to trial involving the OCC.

Mark is a licensed CPA in the state of Maryland.
