Background
Mehmet Sengulen has twenty years of diversified public and private accounting experience. He serves as the Office Managing Partner for UHY’s Long Island offices, leads the National SEC Practice, and is a member of UHY LLP’s leadership committee. In addition to these leadership roles, Mehmet performs audits and reviews of public and private companies and assists publicly owned and privately held companies in their internal controls and regulatory compliance. He also works closely with startups through their lifecycle and guides them through navigating the complexities of IPOs and various compliance requirements.
Mehmet is a subject matter expert for the SEC practice as well as one of the leaders of the Technology and Software Industry Practice Group. He specializes in buy side and sell side advisory services for his serial acquirer and private equity clients for a full spectrum of transactions ranging from acquisitions, divestitures, carve outs and financing transactions.
