Background
Stacy Farber brings over 25 years of experience in financial leadership, with a background in business consulting and auditing. She is the head of the UHY Employee Benefit Plan Center of Excellence for the Northeast Region and specializes in industry-agnostic employee benefit plans.
Stacy advises companies on financial decision making and company-wide policy development to overcome operational issues and drive proactive improvements. She provides advisory consulting services to closely-held businesses, and completes compilations, reviews and audits for clients in the manufacturing and distribution, retail and not-for-profit industries. As a CFO for over 5 years, she understands all areas of accounting operations, analyzes finances to determine risks and create cash forecasts, and advises management on how to craft effective business plans and resolve cost-related issues.
She served as the Chairperson for the Employee Benefit Plan Committee of the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA) and is a member of their Advisory Council. Stacy is also on the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy. In 2023, Stacy was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the CTCPA during their annual Women’s Awards.
